Summary
I started my career at AT&T where I discovered I had a knack for solving complex problems. I then moved to a SaaS startup called CallRail where I leveraged my skillset to work on problems like churn reduction, fraud prevention, customer advocacy, and triaging customer feature requests. I realized that leaders around me were providing me with these opportunities because of my tenacity and creative problem solving. I then discovered that what I was doing was actually a formal role known as product management. From there I dove head first into learning all I could. I moved into a hybrid role working directly with a product team to solve these problems and acquired my CSPO and later my ACSPO.

Creative Problem Solving
I love puzzles. Problems are the balm for my hyper active ADHD brain. I love spending hours ideating on a complex and ambiguous goal or problem. I am consistently relied upon to provide structure and creative solutions to worn out unsolved problems. I’ve been asked to work on everything from product-led growth, churn reduction, fraud prevention, customer advocacy, and more. This versatility is thanks only to my passion for learning new things and drive for new challenges.
Team Oriented
I never want to be the star of the show. In fact, as an introvert I’d rather receive a quiet “thank you” via Slack for a job well done than any public recognition. This helps me to set aside my own ego and instead lift up the team and step out of their way. I want to equip and assist the real heroes like our engineers and designers so that they can be effective and build the exact solution that is needed.
Servant Leadership
In my experience, ego is the downfall of an otherwise great leader. Especially in product management where We lead best through influence rather than any real managerial authority. Because of this we have the unique opportunity to level with our teams and work alongside them. I love casting a vision of the successful finished product and helping to fill in the gaps where I’m needed.
Quick Learner
My passion for problem solving and finding new creative solutions means that I’m consistently looking for new challenges and new things to learn. This has lead me to learn a little bit about a lot of different things. I love having a varied knowledge base and hate encountering topics I know little about. This natural interest drives me to learn as much as I can in a short amount of time. This has helped me to accumulate varied experiences throughout the same company within my tenure.
